PROJECT DETAILS: This project consisted of installing a retaining wall for drainage and decorative purposes.
Here is the hill along side the home. You can see that there are some stone slabs but nothing to hold back water from coming off of the hill and settling in the main part of the yard.

The completed retaining wall. It divides and makes the yard seem larger.
Another view of the wall. Drain pipe was installed behind the wall to catch water to prevent it from interfering with the lower level of the yard. Notice the unpainted portion of the house where the soil used to lay. The additional space was needed to prevent the wood siding from rotting.
